Aloha Pontoon Construction

Aluminum Extruded Deck

Aloha pontoon boats offer an interlocking aluminum extruded deck as an option. This custom designed extrusion stands ¾" tall making it impervious to deck failure and more rigid than most other company's sheet metal deck options.

Hand Welded Cross-members

Aloha pontoon boats are hand welded to cross-members of ¼" thick aluminum. There are no nuts that can come loose or lost assuring you of greater peace of mind while on the water.

Under deck wiring harness

The Aloha pontoon boats under deck wiring harness includes heat shrinkable wire connectors, protective harness conduit and a completely separate wiring harness for the stereo system. This eliminates engine noise through the speakers and any blown fuses when you crank up the 200 watt power booster on the Paradise Series incredible sound system.

Extruded spray deflector

Aloha pontoon boats have an extruded spray deflector welded onto the nose cone. This design enables the boat to have bolt on spray deflector extensions. If the spray deflectors are damaged they can be easily replaced vs. having to go to a welding shop. These extensions are standard on Paradise Series and optional on Tropical Series.

Aloha Pontoon Decking Construction

Aloha pontoon boats route the edge of each sheet of plywood. Then they place an aluminum strip inside before bolting through the center of each joint. The decking is ¾" pressure treated plywood which is bolted rather than screwed into the cross-members. The deck joints are secured by the use of tongue and grove assembly to prevent buckling and warping. The Aloha deck is backed by one of the industry's most extensive warranties.

Saltwater package

A saltwater package is standard equipment with all stainless steel or aluminum fasteners. The Aloha hardware such as the ski-tow eye, cleats (six per boat on 8'6" deck width models) and lining eyes are saltwater tested stainless steel.

Extruded Aluminum Plates

All Aloha pontoon boats have a ¼" thick extruded aluminum plate on the port and starboard inside aft tube. We also increase the thickness of the M bracket to ½" thickness. This design strengthens the most critical weight distribution area of the M bracket.

All Aluminum Transom

The all aluminum transom (no wood) is reinforced with ¼" "U" Channel construction. It is built to handle the heavy 4-stroke engines on today's market. The transom also has an integrated battery tray.
